A piano forum would be nice. I wish more of those "school" articles that were supposed to happen a long time ago would get made. The GIT one was great, although that's not really what I'm interested in. I'm about to read the Randy Ellefson one now. A Berklee or Julliard one would be nice.

A Piano section could be very worthwhile.

There are very few good musicians out there that haven't spent a considerable amount of time at the piano...it's just the most complete instrument we've got.

Agreed from me but how about more generically "keyboard technique". Probably more folks pressing plastic than wood keys!

It can't be so hard for the webmasters to add one little section for Piano/Keyboard Technique. It would be worthwhile because there are tons of people here that are thinking of leaving and finding another forum for music because this one isn't piano related

True the site is "ibreathemusic" so i think it would be ok unless they are worried about everyone playing a instrument wanting their own little board ie: violin, cello, trumpet, pennywhistle. But then again piano next to guitar and bass and even violin have to be some of the top played instruments so i still think it may be worthwhile. I would sure love someone to help me out on my piano technique.

Not saying those instruments suck or anything or shouldnt be on here. I just dont think the moderators want alot of those boards where there arent gonna be much activity and it just takes up room, i dunno. Piano i still think is a popular worthwhile instrument that this site could support.

if not http://www.pianoworld.com/ubb/ubb/ultimatebb.php is incredibly active. there's like 800 users on a time! good for piano players in need of help and for better piano players to discuss theory etc, even for teachers.

I agree. There should be a piano section also, it's a very good idea.

Maybe it would help us guitarists also. Somehow...

yeah just one more section that incorporates everything piano related would rock! piano is a great tool to use for understanding the guitar, too--theory seems much easier on piano to me at least--so if nothing else it can be rationalized that way.
