Talking My Tribute to STEVE MORSE

    Hi

This year I saw Steve Morse live on concert ,and it was awesome to see him play with Deep Purple .
I never did a Tribute to him till today , I recorded this piece today ,just for fun , it is called Stressfest.
My interpretation is slightly slower than the original.
the solo is slightly differnt , and some instruments .
    Enjoy !!!

    Bye
    Paul

    wow...sounds great!

do you mind if i asked how you recorded this? specifically, i'm curious about all of the instruments. did you use software to generate any of the backing instruments (drums, bass, etc.), or did you record all of it yourself?

    Hi

The backing track is midi , but I use very high quality samples ,loaded as soundfont in my RAM ,
The guitarsound generates my Line6 POD II going with stereo into my olīSoundblaster Live LineIN .
The guitar you hear here is an Ibanez RG2020X Prestige Series (those with Piezo )
As Software I use an old Cubase VST with 8 Audiotracks.
Iīm recording for many years now , and the most difficult thing is
    to mix the instruments correctly.
On Stressfest , I reached my best recording mix and quality so far.
Itīs like playing guitar , much practise and doing it will progress your abilities.

If you want , you can have the hifi version of it .

    Yours Sincerly
    Paul
