    Wow,

I must admit I can't do the same thing on my acoustic
I really liked your playing and I think about everyone else would.

    Hi there Paul,

I am listening to it right now, and you did a great job. ( You might have learned from my articles and posts that I am a fan of Paul Gilbert and Racer X ).
I really do like the song anyway, and you did a really good job there, especially regarding the picking stuff...
Must have taken a while, huh ?

    Hi Eric !!!

Yes I recognize you as a Paul Gilbert fan ,now we are two !!
Some really funny thing did happen today , I was visiting the Steve Morse Homepage as usual , and wondered who is this Eric Vandenberg I found in the Link section , So to learn I went for his homepage and found this guy really interessting .
And the really funny thing about it is , I know your Bandmates .(at least by sight (vom Sehen))
First I didnt believe my eyes , when I saw the pics of Andreas and Ralph on your homepage, but these were the musicians I saw live this summer on a party on our campus (Technishce Universität Ilmenau)
and they played like hell , it was great to see them playing.
    Unfortunatly I didn´t have a conversation with them ,
Ok I don´t want to bore you anymore , bye
    and greetings
    Paul

Paul, you´re not boring me at all... =)
( hope no one minds us talkign about stuff like this here... )

Anyway, yes, Ralph and Andy are playing out a lot, being part of several different bands and projects ( Andy currently is out in Lübeck, being part of a musical, the "Little Shop Of Horrors ).
Guess you saw them with the now-disbanded Edda´s Creek ?

So you´re studying in Ilmenau ? Did ya get to see Teutrine on Monday ? They played in Ilmenau. Those guys are friends of mine, too, I hung out with them recently, and three of them teach at the same music school I currently teach at...
    Warm regards
    Eric

Wow! I am a PG fan too and I'm impressed with your interpretation. I guess you've been working on this for awhile! PG is so extreme that it's hard to learn a lick or two, much less an entirely tune.

This song has been on my list of things to learn for a while now but I never make the time (it would only take a year or two to learn...)

Please post other shred tunes you've recorded, I'd like to hear them!

I just listened to this again. I tried playing the main riff and it's a challenge to play it consistent and with good time.

I think its more impressive the second time around!
