Thumbs up An Evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess

oh men, i fall in love with this record..........

    IT'S AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Petrucci is incredible guitarist... some time ago i saw a comment on Holdsworth's forum - someone said "i heard him improvising - he sucks" (about Petrucci)

now i know - he was wrong.... as Rudess said "it's improvisation". unbeilivable. i modified my winamp playlist. now it contains only 2 albums:

An Evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess
John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess - Unplugged

    I'M IN SHOCK!!!!

    Osiris,

I was sitting 18th row center for the An Evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess show back in June 2000. Let me tell you, hearing the CD is one thing, but seeing it live was an experience that blew me away. Their original CD release was only available through Petrucci's website. The new release (I think it was released in the US yesterday) contains a couple of songs that were left off of the first (including Petrucci's take on "Flight of the Bumble Bee"). Are they calling the second release "Unplugged" or have you come across something else?

Petrucci is one of my favourite guitarists

If you can, I highly recommend downloading his guitar solo...

I got it some time ago....just titled Petrucci guitar solo

Flight of the bumble bee is amazing....i love playing that when gigging...of course nothing at the speed he can do it at....also that.... Whats the matter whats the matter HEY, whats the matter with you?.....thats awesome.
After silence....that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music...
