    Cycle 4

    Here is a little exercise in using close voice 7th arpeggios through diatonic cycle 4. I tried to use voice leading based on the lowest note. This would take four complete cycles to return to the first arpeggio. This is just the first cycle.

    Non Diatonic

    Non-diatonic cycle 4 Dom 7th Arpeggios.
    Sorry about the goofy accedentals, if anyone knows how to control this behavior of Powertab I would appreciate the tip.

    PowerTab Behavior

    I'd sure like an answer to the 'goofy accidentals' question, too. All I have discovered is that adding the chord name above the bar affects the notation--without the chord name, the notes go in normally. When the chord name is added, weird things seem to happen (such as double-flats, etc).

    Yeah, this is a bummer..... I hope they will fix this in the new version as this is not acceptable.

    On the other hand it is freeware and the best TAB solution around AFAIK

    I got in contact with this guy. Let's see what he writes back.

    Laterz,

    From the PowerTab Knowledge Base:

    Question
    Can I Manually Set The Accidentals Used In The Music Staff?

    Answer
    Currently no. The accidentals in versions prior to 2.0 are calculated based on the active key signature, as well as the active chord name. Starting in v2.0, all accidentals will be stored with each note, so that the user can change it to the accidental of his/her choice.

    ==========
    I hope he's coming out with version 2 soon
