I am also a big fan of hi-tech rock playing.
I have just ordered the instructional videos of Greg Howe and Richie Kotzen to improve my playing.
I am over my Satriani-period...I think he is still great but he doesn't do much arpeggios with sweep or skips.
I also have John Petrucci and Malmsteen and Gambale material (Gambale is a real MONSTER !!!)

Can anyone remember what the name of Richie Kotzens first band was? I only know it because Mr. Kotzen did testomonials for guitar mags in little 3 inch ads for a guitar course in the 80's. Anyway, I'm just dying to know if anyone else knows it.

I heard he had a band called Aurther's Museum, on Kotzen's Myspace he mentioned "Exis". Hope it helps you out.

My first post at this forum, nice to be here!
