    Equal Temperament: Ancient Greek Tetrachords and Ancient Chinese Pitch Cycles

    Equal Temperament is Composed of the Average AND Aggregate Pitch frequencies of THE Ancient Greek Tetrachords (two consecutive Tetrachords for a Scale, and Octave), AND two of THE Ancient Chinese Pitch Cycles as the Proportion of the Octaves as the Temperament of the Tuning. Equal Temperament is also the Proportion of the Intervals of the Pitches AND Octaves of other Well Temperaments, with Intervals of Pitches and Octaves: for example, Vallotti and Young Tunings merely vary Intervals, and not the Proportion or Scale as the Compass/Pitch Range of the Instrument, the effect of separate Tuning Systems with Intervals between Pitches and Octaves as if for lower Octaves disproportionate to higher Octaves results from the fractional amounts of the Pitch frequencies of the Tunings, with no change of the Pitch Registrations, Temperament as Scale of a musical Instrument, and Compass/Pitch Range as Scale of a musical Instrument, with effective Range of a musical Instrument maintained by the Average AND Aggregate frequency amounts of/for - one- AND the other, both - Proportion, Temperament (two of THE Ancient Chinese Pitch Cycles), and Tune (from many, many of THE Greek Ancient Tetrachords for Scales) of the Well Temperaments. You know JS Bach and a few others Tuned- and re-Tuned Tuning Systems, Well Temperaments, for musical Instruments. Musical Instruments in- and of the Orchestra are Tuned accordingly to the Well Temperaments as Kirnberger for Pianoforte and Fortepiano, Vallotti and Young for Strings, Equal Temperament and Werckmeister for Bells, and Sound together, do not clash, with appropriate and proper dynamic performance articulations for rhythmic pitch articulations. As you realize, Ancient-to-Modern Cultural and Ethnic Music Scales are Performed with Pianoforte, Fortepiano, and virtually all musical Instruments Tuned to the Well Temperaments beyond the Ancient Greek Cosmopolitan Scales for Performance of virtually 100% of Cutural- and Ethnic Folk, Traditional... and "Classical" Music! Sometimes the incorrect variations of the Well Temperaments are used (the Intervals and Pitches and Octaves are too wide AND do not Proportion together properly during Performance of the Intervals and Overlapping Intervals as Chords... Compositions can not be Performed), yet are often described as if the correct Temperament/Tuning versions of the Kirnberger, Vallotti & Young, Equal Temperament, and Werckmeister Well Temperaments. Remember, Equal Temperament was first proposed and accurately calculated by Prine Zhu Zaiyu in 1584, the intervals of the 3rds, 6ths, then 4ths, 5ths, Octaves of Equal Temperament were obviously inspired by the Ancient Babylonian Cyclical Tuning thousands of years before Pythagoras, with Sumerian Music, the oldest of the Mesopotamians, with Pitch tunings for Intervals, then tuned for- and to 7-Tone Scales... the Scales then tuned for Modes thousands of years before Ancient Babylonians. Reference, Review, and Compare with Cycle of Fifths, Chord Cycles... to say the least!
