    Amazing Grace a new way.

Just got back from the Wood County Sheriff's annual kid's fishing tournament up at Lake Fork. Where a Rock-A-Billy band played Amazing grace to the tune of House of the rising sun. I was amazed. Give it a try.

Amazing Graze is in major, and House of the rising sun in minor. There must be some adjustments made? Or not?

You know, which one I'm not sure. I walked over to listen to some other songs they were doing and it looked like it was pretty much G C D7 for everything.

I mentioned this to our choir director today after church and she immediately broke into song -- Amazing Grace to House of the Rising Sun's tune. So it must be done more than I've seen.

Beyond the major minor thing. The House that I know is 4/4 and Amazing Grace is 3/4. I really have a problem singing Amazing Grace in 4/4 time. Needless to say when I heard it for the first time it left an impression.

The Amazing grace lyrics on the House of the rising sun melody may work. That's a bit easier.
