Furthermore, itīs great if someone believes in his own opinion and method, but making it sound as if that and that way of holding the pick is the only possible thing, the only thing that will work. If you wanna make definite statements, you can say "there is no single way of holding the pick, or no single picking style that will equally well for everyone".

And no, no one has to listen to the ones with fast progression. Because
    a) a lot of people who progress fast in certain aspects of playing usually lack in others, rare to find an exception
    b) What worked for you or Phantom or me doesnīt necessarily work for anyone else. And it might even be frustrating and demotivating if someone tries to listen to "someone with a fast progression", try it, realizes it doesnt work and considers himself untalented or whatever. Gratz to everyone who makes fast progress, but that doesnīt necessarily mean that that person can teach others to achieve the same that quickly.
    c) It reminds me of all those gazillion websites where, for only 24.99, you can buy "THE BOOK THAT WILL PUT YOUR TECHNIQUE THROUGH YOUR ROOF. LEARN TO PLAY LIKE STEVE VAI IN ONLY 4 HOURS, UTILIZING THE AMAZING, SECRET METHOD THAT WE DEVELOPED. YOUR PLAYING WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. READ WHAT BUYERS HAVE TO SAY..."

Many times we have tried .... but we all see that it is clearly not possible to discuss a subject with Mr.Dahlia in a constructive and logical manner.

Not a single time it had positive results where board members could benefit from and were always leading in senseless stupidity.

Maybe another board would be happy to have you as a member, Joey, we unfortunately can't be the right platform for you.

At this point now you are about to get banned for several reasons including:
trolling, hijacking threads, self promoting, misleading, failing to back up the "rules" you make up, etc.
All the moderators at this place now came to that decision.

You are neither someone who asks for advice - although you should.
Nor you are someone who should be put in the position to give advice.

    Goodbye Joey.

    Joey,

    You seem to be confused.

    You say you're a teacher.

Joey is not a subject anymore.
All confusion came to an end.

We now can finally come back to constructive advice to those who request it.
    Pheew.

As for this thread, i think all is said, and if the original poster has further questions he is invited to open another thread as he wishes.
