I've been playing shred for a while now, and I was wondering if anyone had some cool shred licks. I've been learning tons of stuff, but still I'd to get other peoples' ideas.:)

Uhmmm... did ya check out some of the articles yet ?

First of all, check out the Pulse-newsletter... every issue has a shred-lick... here´s a link to the ARCHIVE (http://www.ibreathemusic.com/pulse/archives.php)

Next, check out Mike Campese´s arrangement of Paganini´s Caprice No.16 HERE (http://www.ibreathemusic.com/play/article/92)

Thorsten Koehne ( a superb shredder ) gave away some neat licks in SHRED TALK (http://www.ibreathemusic.com/play/article/54/4)

Also check out the articles about Greg Howe, Paul Gilbert and the stretch pentatonic... and we had some cool licks at the forums too...

Hope this helps

Check out Matthias Eklundh's website:www.freakguitar.com, go to either the "licks" or "Fuzz" sections, they have some neat ones.
