a ii V7 I progression? It must be me. After I hear a ii-V7-I progression at about 100BPM, I REALLY hafta think about it whether I hear a III or a V of the I chord. Can you tell I'm using Functional Ear Trainer?

The IV is somewhat dissonant, and for some reason the proximity to the root makes the II and the VII easy to call. For some reason the VI isn't too bad either.

I usually go through a key until I hit about 90% accuracy, then move on to the next key. Then I start all over again it seems.

The guidetones can sound similar to a lot of people. I think the 3rd has very strong resolution and often feel its the root sometimes. Use the do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti singing method, or whatever words you want to use. This helps a lot.
