I want to get some help with this question or should I say quest. I am looking for information and ideas on different types of strumming patterns or rhythmic ideas for accoustic guitar. I would like to be able to take a chord progression for a song and change it up with new fresh ideas.

Are there any articles on this site? or books or tapes etc that anyone can reccomend.

thanks in advance for the help

Theres not many acoustic related articles on here, if any...

I thought about writing a few articles, but it's not my specialty. Travis picking and strumming are just two things I enjoy on the side, so I wouldn't feel qualified to write anything beyond a basic primer.

There was a good article on www.about.com about strumming though, try looking there. Sorry I couldn't help more...
