View Full Version : Isomorphic Keyboard Album Kickstarter

Hi all! It's been a very long time since I frequented this forum, but I hope you don't mind my poking my head back here to ask for some help.

Some of you may have heard of C-Thru Music, the company that sells the isomorphic keyboars AXiS-49 and AXiS-64 (http://www.c-thru-music.com/cgi/?page=home), is going out of business. A few years ago I grabbed a couple AXiS-49's and have been focussing on that aspect of alternative music making since, making youtube videos with music (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLN4CAl6p7A) and lectures on theory (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DB2aHGW45fY) that are especially relevant to this type of keyboard.

But I always wanted to get my hands on the AXiS-64 model, which would allow for a legitimate performance level treatment of an isomorphic keyboard (whereas the 49 is more of a "composer's companion"), and would also help me make more effective educational youtube videos. Since C-Thru is going out of business (and I am not financially in a position to purchase an AXiS-64) I decided to make a Kickstarter project to fund my purchasing one, with the promise of a free album release and some modest rewards for backers. Basically, I'm letting the internet as a whole decide whether I will get one ;-)

(Feel free to check out the promotional video on the page, I tried to keep it short and simple!)

So if your'e able, I'd really appreciate any support you can give, and even if giving is not an option, it would be really awesome if you could share this somewhere. Whether it's on Facebook or on Twitter or your next door neighbor, any exposure would be a huge huge help to me.

Thanks, and please ask questions if you have any =)
