I have an idea for anybody to join in and it starts like this.....

We call a key for a song for instance E Natural minor or anything exotic if you want.

Name the notes in it E-F#-G-A-B-C-D-E

Make a chord from these notes E.G

E-G-B-D Emin7th

Then let somebody post a chord change for it. For Example

Emin7th to Aminor or whatever chord that person chooses.
Explain the reason for picking this chord.
Then let another person add to this overall creating a minature song. By doing this we can maybe find unusual chord progressions and see different ways of making songs more interesting..... So if anyone is bothered post A.S.A.P

I will start off

B-D-F Bmin II chord of the scale.... Please build upon this thanx Joe

something better might be to come up with a melody line, and harmonize it with a chord progression. progressions by themselves can get as weird as you want them to, especially if you want to get into pantonal (atonal) music, where theres no concept of a root note. maybe doing some research on "comping" would be benificial for you as well, as it deals with substituting various chords for otherwise cliche or just plain boring progressions.

Im up for doing that because it sounds like a better idea so ok then. Start us off with a harmony (Anybody can post one) and lets see what happens from there.
thanx Joe
